Job description

The Role

This role can also be based in London in the UK and various locations in the US.

Supporting culture of learning, the Learning Technology Specialist focuses on designing meaningful, interactive learning experiences that deliver on the desired learning outcomes and goals.

The Learning Technology Specialist understands adult learning, digital and e-learning technology, learning management systems, and multi-media to recommend and create dynamic learning experiences including computer-based and mobile e-learning courses. Under the direction of the Learning Technologies Leader, the Specialist creates desired digital courses and experiences within the desired timeframe.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design and development of digital content ie e-Learning including mobile learning to offer WTW colleagues learning that meets their immediate and future knowledge and development needs
  • Provides technology expertise to the Learning & Leadership Development Team that engages our workforce in a culture of learning
  • Identifies opportunities to further connect a geographically dispersed workforce in the business of WTW
  • Supports post-learning evaluation of quality and effectiveness by capturing and reporting appropriate talent development data.

The Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of best practices for adult learning and related tools
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote reporting relationship
  • Advance knowledge of latest learning technology and formats
  • Knowledge of audio and video editing and software
  • Knowledge of talent analytics including capturing and maintaining learning data
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment,
  • Able to build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels within WTW
  • Experience supporting learning technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of the following:
  • HTML, XHTML, cross browser and cross platform compatibility, JavaScript, Adobe Captivate v9 & 2019, Adobe CC Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
