The Opportunity:

A Learning Specialist is required on a fixed term contract to provide maternity cover. The role will be to oversee the delivery of the existing learning curriculum, while working with local and global HR teams to continue to evolve and improve the learning experience to continue to meet the needs of the business.

Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
  • Work with HRBPs to build & maintain effective working relationships with Divisional customers, providing a single integrated face to the business
  • Support the Head of Talent and Culture in developing an enterprise view of QBE's current and future capability needs that aligns with QBE's people strategy and supports the execution of business strategy. 
  • Provides recommendations that deliver an integrated approach across all components of the employee lifecycle.
  • Diagnosis and analysis of learning needs in order to source and procure the appropriate learning solution to meet the needs of the individual/business.
  • Relationship management with global and local colleagues, employees and learning providers to ensure smooth delivery of learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with the global HR delivery team to support the creation of engaging and accessible Learning that will enhance employee experience
  • Continuously look to improve the employee experience from onboarding to internal communication campaigns
  • Work with HR and compliance teams to ensure a smooth delivery of compliance modules through our LMS in multiple languages and support with Learning related regulation requirements such as SM&CR and IDD.
  • Provide onshore support and guidance for the Learning Operations team based in Manilla.

You will need to be able to display you have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Worked in Financial Services (desirable) and or large/multiple sites/complex structure, potentially global.
  • Experienced in consulting to business stakeholders in complex and fast-paced environments with a service-oriented style
  • The ability to deliver complex development projects in multiple locations, languages and cultural contexts.
  • Broad knowledge of learning solutions, considering different methods, e.g. on the job, self-paced, eLearning, online, workshop.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Worked with ambiguity and changing organisation.
  • Experience with Cornerstone, Articulate Rise and Adapt would be desirable
