The Salesforce Developer has expert knowledge of Salesforce.com from a technical and business perspective. S/He has a thorough understanding of the business, their processes and challenges to develop strategic CRM solutions.
This position will work alongside the Salesforce Administrator and Technical Analyst to realize the full capability of the Salesforce CRM platform. Position will be responsible for design and development of customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations. This includes coding, unit testing, building applications, and creating and modifying existing applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for design, development, testing, and change management. Operating as a team member and a team leader by providing development leadership to the team to ensure Salesforce.com best practices, standard tools and processes are used and act as a resource and mentor to CRM Business Analysts within the group.
The position holder will also analyse, define and develop logical processes, interfacing with other applications, front- and back-end checks and controls. They will also participate in the identification and evaluation of third-party applications from the app exchange to support ongoing evolution of the business. Collaborate and influence with the technical architects, admins and business users throughout the process. Must be able to perform these functions for large-scale, complex projects with minimal guidance.
- At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience
- Current Salesforce Certification (ie: Salesforce.com Developer I, App Builder and Platform Developer II a bonus)
- Familiarity REST/SOAP APIs and building integrations with Salesforce
- Strong understanding of AGILE methodologies and principles
- Proactive in solving business and/or technical problems.
