JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a high performing, externally "switched on" Talent & Development leader to partner Global Decision Analytics, our fastest growing global business line in Experian, as well as Global Finance, which has ambitious plans to continue its transformation over the coming years.

GDA has circa 2000 people - with the central teams ( 700 ) in UK, Monaco, USA, Malaysia and Bulgaria primarily focussed on global product management, development and delivery, the regional teams have similar regional capabilities together with analytics and go to market capabilities.

Global Finance has circa 900 people worldwide with capabilities centred upon decision support, operations, governance and assurance. The function has been and will continue to centralise and automate finance operations and at the same time upgrade skills and source new talent to further optimise & strengthen all 3 capability areas.

With both a strategic & strong execution focus, you will work with the HRD to define and develop the talent, development & diversity strategy for both areas, you will an expert collaborator and totally at ease working in a global matrix based organised. The role will require strong collaboration with HR Business Partners, Regional Talent colleagues and Senior Business Leaders.

You will be adept at juggling numerous responsibilities / projects at the same time and be comfortable influencing the Group CFO one minute and the next minute running a webinar for people managers or having an individual coaching session with a top talent.

This is a great opportunity for a results driven and experienced practitioner to be responsible for creating and delivering an influential and innovative talent plans in a growing, fast changing environment.

CONTEXT & KEY FEATURES OF THE ROLE

The organisational backdrop to the role is as follows:

Changing Business landscape - digital, SaaS, AI. The profile of work undertaken is changing and so too is the profile of people & future skills base we require in the future GDA & Finance organisation. We need to evolve our TA practices to attract & source people from different segments with different profiles.

Talent & Diversity Education & Upskilling - Whilst we have strong people managers there is an ever present need to keep their talent & diversity skills / knowledge upto date with fresh perspectives, best practice approaches etc. Equally all GDA and Finance people, require routine access to & education on tools to help them navigate their careers in global, dispersed organisation

Diversity & Inclusivity - We need to continue to strengthen and build a diverse workforce, one that better represents the societies, geographies and markets within which we operate. In GDA our software arm, and in Global Finance, we are looking to improve female representation at more senior levels.

Core focus areas for this role will centre upon:

 Globally optimising all career development tools, resources and programmes - eg mentoring, rotations, communities of practice etc
 Global Talent Review & Network - facilitate the end to end business talent review process; rolling business reviews driving action oriented outcomes ( in collaboration with HR Partners ). Support the group wide talent network & contribute to shaping the executive and leadership development programmes
 Developing & executing diversity plans - with our D&I ambassadors - driving best practice and innovative approaches to help deliver against our target aspiration.
 Ownership and delivery of our Accelerated Development Programme - targeted towards the acceleration and growth of junior / middle mgmt females in GDA
 Design and build of new talent development fast-track programmes to build bench-strength and address succession gaps eg MBA High Fliers Programme for Finance
 Manage and optimise relationships with 3rd party talent suppliers delivering services to Finance / GDA eg Spencer Stuart Exec Assessments for Finance.
 Optimise Career Central -our one stop shop for job families, competency profiles and pathways, access routes to learning / skills building
 1:1 Career Coaching - career coaching targeted and differentiated towards different talent segment
This is very much a hands on role but with the benefit of working alongside great Talent & HR Business Partners. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in Talent Management. Ideally you will have HR Business Partnering experience as this role is a true "Partner" role. Commercial acumen will be evident as will the ability to coach, facilitate and influence Exec Level leaders and teams. You will have a background delivering projects in complex environments and demonstrate strategic capability.

 Degree- level education or equivalent ( ideally Russell Group or leading Uni
 Demonstrable and outstanding record in Talent Management within a large corporate business and across a substantial scale
 Strong programme management and leadership skills, alongside exceptional stakeholder management
 Proven ability to build effective partnerships with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation
 Extensive HR experience overall, with proven experience in a senior talent role, preferably in a global matrix organisation, and other demonstrable HR experience gained in Talent Acquisition & HR Business Partnering / Generalist.
 The ability to plan multiple tasks effectively and deliver to deadlines
 Proven ability to work well cross functionally in a matrix environment
 Creative flair and an eye for continuous improvement
 Strong business acumen and a curiosity to understand how the business operates
