The trust is seeking a permanent appointment of a Head of Information & Data Quality to manage its informatics functions. This will strengthen the trusts understanding of its performance through the linking of key non clinical systems in HR, Finance, and Business with its key clinical information.
The post holder will have senior responsibility for providing and developing an effective and efficient Information service (both clinical and operational) that provides rapid and robust reporting to all levels of the Trust. The post holder must ensure that excellent and timely data and information is provided that can inform strategic and operational decision making at all levels. This will be achieved through the provision of a customer focused service that harnesses information to drive quality and safety of healthcare delivery. .
The post will report to the Director of Clinical Information Management and will work closely with other Heads of service, board directors, seniors managers and clinicians in the trust
The post holder requires strong analytical and statistical skills / knowledge with an in depth experience of establishing information systems / applications that will promote the development of an information culture within the Trust.
Therefore to achieve this transformation to an "Information culture” the post holder will be required to have influence experience at a senior and strategic level, and will be a key member of various key stakeholder meetings within Trust. With this in mind the post holder will be the Trust's key interface on Information for all internal and external stakeholders as well being capable of developing and managing these relationships.
