About the role
Covering activities that include IT, Change, Information Security, 3rd Party Management, Data and Business Resilience, the brand new GRC function will enable us to make IT, Information and Change decisions that align to, and shape, all of our future strategies. But, we need your expertise. Joining a small, specialist team, you'll be key in helping us manage and mature the overall GRC processes. Specifically, you'll be responsible for implementing a controls assurance framework and carrying out independent testing of IT general computing controls across the department. You'll also play your part in ensuring we embed a proactive risk management culture and put sufficiently robust structures in place to achieve the effective oversight and management of IT, Change and Information risks across the Group.
Ideally, you have experience in IT focused audit/assurance roles and/or financial services (particularly IT, client services and change/project management), Governance or GRC, SOX Act or similar, management information and reporting. You're great at managing a variety of stakeholders too, and adept at communicating the technical effectively to non-technical audiences. Process driven, self-motivated and well-organised, you have excellent analysis skills and lots of initiative. You're also a team player who thrives in an environment of change. Happy to challenge the status quo when appropriate, you're as comfortable promoting continuous improvement as you are working to agreed objective, targets and timescales.
