SUMMARY:

The Global Data Privacy Lead will be running technology and process led projects around data protection work.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a role with a global remit and will see you coordinate tech and business process aspects of the data privacy in our organization.

You will be responsible for coordinating data mapping for a number of service centres and both UK and internationally led programmes, alongside having escalations of GDPR led deletion requests and SARS.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
    Advise the business on a wide range of privacy matters globally.
  
  
• 
  Advise on and ensure correct drafting in relation to escalations from the Pontoon EMEA and global commercial legal teams.
  
  
• 
  Manage Global Privacy Analyst, Administrator (on recruitment) and escalations in relation to Pontoon work done by Adecco UK & I privacy administrator (SARs / deletion requests).
  
  
• 
  Lead privacy workstream on multiple global projects.
  
  
• 
  Advise on remediation in relation to global Adecco Group Internal Audits.
  
  
• 
  Prepare for upcoming global Adecco Group Internal Audits to ensure privacy compliance.
  
  
• 
  Manage new initiatives process, including OneTrust questionnaires and liaison with the relevant business owners to ensure privacy review.
  
  
• 
  Manage Record of Processing process globally, advising the Global Privacy Analyst on escalation points.
  
  
• 
  Maintain documentation of registration/notification of processing to the relevant regulators as required by local laws.
  
  
• 
  Ensure management of global privacy ambassadors with regular contact and assistance with privacy queries.
  
  
•   Gather information to enable the Group Privacy Office to co-ordinate and respond to customers, relating to internal compliance activities
  
• 
    Ensure sufficient training is conducted in light of internal policies and adapting legislation globally.
  
  
• 
  Meet global KPIs and send data to Group Privacy Office
  
  
• 
  Approve and execute cross border data transfers
  
  
• 
  Attend risk and compliance committees as appropriate
  
  
• 
  Monitor changes on privacy topic to local laws and regulations
  
  
• 
  Monitor data privacy compliance and track remediation activities
  
  
• 
  Work on preparations to achieve compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act.
  
  
• 
  Manage privacy non-compliance, advising the business and escalating to group level where necessary.
  
  

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience of delivering data or technology led programmes.
• Ability to communicate updates efficiently.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to get involved in ad hoc duties and additional aspects of the project.

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience.
• 3+ years project/programme management experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Excellent communications skills both written & oral, one-to-one & in group presentation situations.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and decision making skills.
• Experience of managing stakeholders within blue chip organisations.
• Proven track record of managing to milestones and deadlines.
• Expert working knowledge of MS Applications - MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
