OTS Executive (Operations) - Financial Services

We're looking for Executives (Junior Managers) to join our Financial Services team because we are experiencing tremendous growth in our OTS Team currently.

The Opportunity Our team is a dedicated group of over 25 professionals in this specialist service offering. Each draws on their financial, operational and technical skills to support both private equity and corporate clients, spanning a wide range of industries. We're focused on our clients' key strategic activities, advising and influencing at senior leadership level. We find ways to make transactions happen smoothly and efficiently, without compromising standards or taking uncalculated risks for sellers or buyers.

Skills and Attributes for success You will have knowledge and experience of the following:

  • Financial Services expertise: has a good level of experience in Financial Services, with a focus on operations, technology, strategy and change.
  • Consulting skills: can demonstrate the skills and experience required to operate in a client-facing role within a professional services firm.
  • Change management: understands key principles of project and programme management and has some experience of managing change.
  • Financial analysis: able to apply sound financial analysis and a rigorous approach to quantify the impact of operational issues.
  • Commercial acumen: able to quickly understand the key value drivers in a business and how these impact the scope and approach of an assignment
To qualify for the role you must have
  • Proven operations experience within a complex financial services organisation
  • Deep understanding of one or more core operational functions
  • Transactions: ideally due diligence, carve-out or integrations experience
  • Strong financial and statistical knowledge / qualifications (Ideally a degree in economics).
Ideally you'll also have
  • Analytically strong, with the ability to link operational analysis to financial statements, and understand the implications of findings to client strategy.
  • Experience of delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Strong team participation skills, particularly teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, coupled with the ability to coach and mentor juniors.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
  • Professionalism and consistency in approach to client work, internal business and practice development projects
