The Events and Sponsorship team sits with the Corporate Communications Team in the Business Development department. The team is made up of two members: an Events and Sponsorship Manager and Events and Sponsorship Executive. We are recruiting for a new one year contract position within the team, an Events and Sponsorship Executive.
The Events and Sponsorship Team is responsible for the organisation and event management of all major internal and client events and major sponsorships and memberships. We rarely get involved in smaller internal conferences or training but act in an advisory role for these events.
A lot of the day-to-day work undertaken by the Events team is re-active and on an ad-hoc basis, for example ticket requests, restaurant recommendations, corporate merchandise orders, team building exercises etc.
The Events and Sponsorship Executive will support the Events and Sponsorship team delivering a high level of service on all events and sponsorship activities.
First point of contact for any enquiries relating to the Events and Sponsorship team;
Assisting and leading internal and external events;
Assisting with management of the firm's online event platform for EMEA, including training colleagues to set up and run their own online events ensuring best practice is followed;
Completing administrative tasks including but not limited to processing supplier invoices, internal event promotion and communication;
Managing and purchasing client hospitality and ad hoc ticket requests for major events;
Supporting as required, events related to firm Employee Resource Groups;
Management and maintenance of the Events and Sponsorship intranet pages;
Working with the Global Service Centre (GSC) on the EMEA events calendar and ensuring the maintenance of the EMEA events calendar;
Attending internal and external meetings, site visits and event shows as and when required;
Updating event briefings and progress reports as required;
Managing and maintaining internal events material and equipment including banners and exhibition stands;
Responsible for managing and ordering stock for corporate merchandise.
