Description As an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Programme Risk Manager at HS2 you will support the development and implementation of a proactive approach to enterprise risk management in the organisational areas of HS2 Ltd.
About the role:
Support the creation of a culture of risk-based decision making in order to enable business objectives to be delivered most effectively
Support the Head of Enterprise & Programme Risk in the development & maintenance of an enterprise risk management framework, policy, process and procedures for HS2 (collectively referred to as the ERM system), and its implementation across the organisational (functional) areas of HS2
Facilitate risk identification, assessment and treatment within defined areas of responsibility
Contribute to the communication of a holistic view of HS2 risk, working with all key stakeholders to understand and articulate the interrelationships
Lead and support the facilitation of risk workshops and assist risk champions in functions or departments to undertake risk reviews and report on risk exposure
Conduct reviews of risks and documentation prepared by phases or other departments as they relate to the areas of responsibility.
Undertake ERM maturity assessments and ERM framework benchmark studies against recognised good practice to demonstrate leading practice

Qualifications About You:
Ability to undertake the full spectrum of qualitative risk management activities, tools and techniques
Professional risk management qualifications or comparable
Effective facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to work in a collaborative, cooperative and supportive manner as a team member, effectively contributing to the team's objectives and obligations
Ability to work with a range of stakeholders
Working knowledge of corporate governance, internal controls, risk management frameworks and policies, risk taxonomies, corporate risk management practices and the function of audit committees
Awareness of industry leading practices in ERM
Ability to identify and explain the fundamentals of risk management, control management and assurance
Understands the fundamentals of project management and business management
Experience of implementing risk management within a major organisation with multiple stakeholders
