Working in a modern, fast paced organisation the successful candidate will effectively aid recruitment campaigns, to deliver an outstanding service to our organisation. You will work with an additional Talent Acquisition Adviser supporting a team of Talent Acquisition Consultants, also a communication and engagement manager.
We are looking for someone who will be passionate about planning, coordinating and supporting recruitment in line with current MoD recruitment policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will work closely with DIO-MGS Managers, Defence Business Services and the DIO-MGS Corporate Services Team to deliver an outstanding service, in aiding the operational output of the MGS.
The successful candidate will process excellent communication skills, organisational skills and ability to use initiative in meeting the organisations requirements. Also be IT literate including, MS office, Word and Excel.

The Ministry of Defence Guard Service (MGS) is a professionally qualified body of Civil Servants who provide unarmed guarding services at over 100 MOD sites across Great Britain. The MGS has guarded the Defence Estate for over 25 years including high profile locations such as MOD Main Building in London and Her Majestys Naval Bases at Portsmouth, Devonport and the Clyde. The MGS plays a vital role supporting the Defence Mission and works closely with its security partners.
The MGS is part of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and employs over 2,500 operational and support staff. The MGS is managed by a Head Office team, dispersed strategically around the country.

Collate vacancy details received from the Recruitment Focal Points within 2 working days
Maintain and update the recruitment campaign tracker
Update and maintain the Recruitment landing page
Liaise with DBS recruitment and onboarding
Keep in touch with successful candidates going through the on-boarding process to keep them engaged.
Cross reference the reserve list tracker to any new or upcoming vacancies
Collate and store information in accordance with GDPR
Answer telephones, take messages or provide responses as appropriate
Carry out general clerical duties
Assist HO with the collation of any business stats required and distribute these as necessary
Stationary orders for areas 4 & 6
Initial processing of Outsize Clothing Forms

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) is the estate expert for Defence, supporting the armed forces to enable military capability by planning, building, maintaining, and servicing infrastructure. Our responsibilities include:
