Job description

The Challenge

The Estate Facilities Manager (EFM) is the single DIO point of contact at the Establishments they have responsibility for.
They are accountable for ensuring the service provision is provided at the sites they are allocated working collaboratively with Colleagues, Customers and Contractors to deliver effectively.?

As an EFM you will be responsible for ensuring service provision for both Hard and Soft FM is delivered to specific establishments, adhering and conforming with all agreed DIO TLB processes and operating procedures.

Main Responsibilities

As an EFM working within DIO Regional Delivery you will be responsible for managing the contracts for both Hard and Soft FM on the relevant establishments, following the TLB procedures. The EFM will utilise the IT systems supporting these contracts. Carrying out assurance activities to ensure KPIs are met.

Manage and co-ordinate contract assurance, compliance and any audit and H&S inspection as defined in the contract

DIO Regional Delivery South West, Service Delivery Area 19 is based from MOD Lynham. This EFM position will have a primary responsibility for Trenchard Lines (Upavon), DNBC Winterbourne Gunner, Ludgershall Railhead and RAF Boscombe Down. We offer a flexible base location for this role and will therefore enable either MOD Lyneham or Trenchard Lines as a duty station.

Selection process details

This vacancy is using Success Profiles , and will assess your Behaviours and Experience.

Your suitability for the role will be assessed using the Success Profile elements that have been chosen for this campaign. Each element will be scored accordingly, and the successful candidate will be appointed on merit.

Applications will be sifted on all Behaviours, but in the event of a significant number of applications, an initial sift will be conducted on the lead 2 behaviours Leadership and Working Together and on Experience.

In this instance the remaining elements will be tested at interview.

- Personal Statement detailing in no more than 500 words:
1. Strong interpersonal skills; self-confident; ability to work on own initiative within a wide ranging but structured environment.

- A Civil Service Judgement test will be applied during your application

At interview you will be assessed against the above along with the following:

Interviews will take place via telephone within two weeks of 9th November 2020.

A minimum of 2 full working days- notice will be provided for interviews. We endeavour to stick to these dates, but these are subject to change around business needs.
