We are looking for a Digital Acquisition Executive to support the Digital Acquisition Manager on daily traffic acquisition and the search optimisation strategy. You will cover the full ownership and execution of the supporting traffic trade plan for Flight + Hotel. In this role you'll be wholly responsible for optimizing onsite Search both via the funnel and via SEO optimization governance and standard methodology. This will be informed by off-site search metrics and working with the agency on tactical promotional activity from coordinating the plan to execution
Whilst reviewing competitive data and propositions you will inform and support our trading and acquisition strategies making clear recommendations. You''ll be responsible for providing clear and accurate data to support actions, driving the value of all related activity, champion the ecommerce function and team across the whole organization and demonstrate personal capability and added user value across the business.
Day to day
Work collaboratively with our digital agency to deliver direct acquisition strategy across paid search, SEO, aggregators & affiliates
Manage tactical activity from promotions and additional valued customer concepts
Lead relationship with online travel agent partners and new distribution channel ensuring allocated marketing budget aligns with business objectives
Own test & learn roadmap across acquisition channels

Implement actions and adjustments to acquisition strategy based on overall trading performance insights
Own and deliver Flight+Hotel traffic strategy, ensuring there is alignment across our broader flight only strategy, as well as avoiding cannibalization of Virgin Holidays activity.

Ensure weekly digital acquisition metrics are in line with targets, especially tactical activity
Work closely with eCommerce trading team to ensure you communicate trading requirements clearly with the digital agency, ensuring you advise the trading team with any changes in performance.
Take ownership of any weekly internal reporting e.g. commercial and monthly trading packs.
Lead on all tactical promotions, ensuring agencies are briefed and clear performance metrics are set for each promotion
Own the reporting of these short term tactical promotions, providing clear insight and recommendations for future tactical promotions
F eed into the wider eCommerce promotional calendar, ensuring you complete weekly fields.
Own the day to day finance process, including PO's, coordinating a budgeted process for next year and working closely with marketing to ensure the MAT is updated in line with finance timings.
Are you forward thinking with the ability to influence upwards and inspire change both horizontally and vertically? Are you analytically driven to provide insight into problem solving solutions? Can you handle 3rd party agencies and media owners whilst challenging when necessary? Then this could be the role for you.
Along with the above you will have the following:
* BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
* High level understanding of channels within scope of role
* A deep understanding of key available to drive performance
* Experience working across multiple digital channels & delivering significant result s
* Deep understanding of marketing technology and measurement platforms
* Demonstrable experience in on and off-site SEO practices
* Experience in management of large budgets
* Adept at working to strict deadlines with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
