Talbot are leaders in the War and Terrorism, Energy, Marine, Financial Lines and Cyber insurance sectors. We also focus on additional specialty classes such as transport, political risk, crisis management, kidnap and ransom, contingency, property and treaty reinsurance.
Data Quality and governance functions directly supports "Improving" and "Defending" our business, ensuring we have high quality data that is well governed and complies to the strict regulatory environment expected of a leading Lloyds Market Syndicate. These include Solvency 2, GDPR, SOX, Internal Risk and Internal Audit amongst others.
The Data Quality/Governance Lead plays and important role in driving and managing the practice and processes which ensures the formal management and control of our most critically governed data assets whilst also driving trust in the information we use to make decisions. This role will report directly to the Chief Data Officer and will offer good level of autonomy for the right candidate to exert their expertise in developing this role
- Experience in leading the data quality / governance function within a Lloyds Syndicate or within Financial service organisation
- Implemented or Managed an existing data governance and quality framework and familiar with the key practice, disciplines and frameworks (DAMA or others)
- Experienced in the business as usual operation control, monitoring of company data quality and governance processes, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance
