We're hiring! We are currently looking to recruit a Data Analyst to join our Human Capital Solutions practice in London.
Aon's Human Capital Solutions division is the leading provider of analytical performance analysis, rewards studies, and consulting to the world's top financial services firms. As part of the Performance & Analytics business, the GAUGE team delivers benchmarking and strategy consulting to help clients in asset management, investment banking, and corporate banking businesses enhance productivity and profitability by optimising revenue, capital, cost, and headcount drivers. Our team typically delivers projects to sponsors including the C-suite, heads of business, and heads of strategy based around the globe.
About the Role
The role will suit a candidate with an interest in management consultancy and/or the financial services industry. Some of the key responsibilities will involve:
Data collation from reporting systems; mapping; manipulation; and interrogation/quality assurance. Supporting the building of client reports and summarising findings to executive sponsors. Supporting the delivery of client results. Preparing research for internal team meetings and external client meetings. Helping to enhance the product offering.
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As an Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Industry awareness. Desire to develop knowledge of clients we work with and build a commercial understanding of investment bank efficiency drivers, operating models, market trends. Committed to accuracy, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality work. Proactive mindset, willingness to learn on the job, and able to work independently. Curiosity to question and understand the implications of internal processes/client results. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and good personal organisation or project management acumen. Advanced Excel and PPT skills. Ability to handling and analysing large data sets. Relevant academic or professional qualifications. Experience in statistics, finance, or research field will be advantageous.
