Job Introduction An exceptional opportunity has arisen for exceptional CTOs / Chief Architects to join our thriving company; Computacenter. The successful individual will be working with one or two key, strategic contractual service customers to help them drive large scale, cross technology and managed services transformation engagements. The role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business problems and technology solutions and is focussed on building strong and enduring, mutually profitable relationships.
Build strong CxO level relationships in order to influence customer strategy with the aim of becoming a trusted advisor
Share information across the account team, ensuing the solutions proposed are fit for purpose and provide good value for all parties
Contribute to the success of the account by being a proactive and trusted member of the account leadership team
Provide solution leadership and architectural input to transformation sales opportunities
Support Sales Teams in the identification and qualification of opportunities
Actively contribute to the corporate strategy and standards utilised by Computacenter in transformation and delivery.
Innovate to bring new ideas for the benefit of the customer and / or Computacenter
Governing the quality of our proposed solutions so that they will meet the requirements
Understands the impact of delivering the solution on other inflight projects delivered by Computacenter or strategic customer projects delivered by other Ecosystem partners where published.
Making sure that what we deliver works and we get a reference / case study for it where the customer is agreeable for one to be published
Point of escalation and guidance for technical blockers/obstacles affecting the delivery KPI which cannot be resolved by the project or Professional Services
The Ideal Candidate
Experience Customer Operational Architect, Lead Architect, Solution Owner, Chief Architect or CTO
Experience of building relationships at the highest levels within enterprise customers
Knowledge of and experience in designing and implementing solutions comprising of multiple technologies and business applications
Experience of defining and driving innovative improvements
Commercially astute with experience of deal/solution governance processes
Ability to communicate well, including presenting to an external audience, both business and technical
Good people management, leadership, demonstrable time management skills and organisational skills, ability to lead large virtual teams.
Proven ability producing documentation for a business and technical audience.
