There will be appearances in court and you will be required to make, and be accountable for, decisions and activities within the criminal justice system. These will also be subject to scrutiny and inspection by external authorities.
As your career within FIS progresses there may be opportunities to specialise in other areas such as financial recovery, or covert surveillance. Criminal Investigation Directorate Attendance Allowance (CIDAA) - BASE TIER
CIDAA is paid to FIS officers within a three-tiered structure that reflects the attendance requirement for the jobholder's role. Additionally, there are separate rates for each of the tiers, to reflect the difference between the London and National pay areas.
CIDAA is paid monthly with salary and is a category 2 attendance allowance. It is reviewed each year and the amount and scope of each tier are subject to change.
