Cook & Serve Supervisor

Working 30 hours per week - Between 8.30am - 2.30pm
Term time plus 3 cleaning days & 3 training days in school holiday, 6 days in total to be worked during school holidays.

GR 2 £18,887 -£20,852 per annum (pro rata) Actual Salary £14,018

• Cityserve is the Birmingham City Council multi- award winning catering service for school meals providing fresh and nutritious food for school kitchens across the UK, healthy eating is a continuous theme throughout all of our menus and we are committed to the well-being of pupils .

• As a Cook Serve Supervisor , your responsibilities will include: Delivering daily staff briefings Receiving deliveries of stock and consumables Preparing and cooking meals for pupils, Ensuring all food and health and safety regulations are followed, Managing rotas for the staff, You will work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure the first-class delivery of food in the school kitchen.
• About You; Essential: Good people skills, Passion about food and customer service, Great team player Good verbal and written communication skills, Computer literate Desirable: Experience in a similar environment, A Food Safety Level 2 / or working towards, High standards and quality driven, A 'can do' attitude.
