Contract Manager

Come and join our team as Contract Manager to provide a wide range of Contract Management support to all business areas of Siemens Healthineers.

Your mission and responsibilities:

You will support the Business Areas and the in-house Legal team in a variety of contractual matters.

Throughout the Bid Stage, in support of the wider contract review undertaken by the in-house Legal team, you will carry out a review of customer issued contract schedules to understand the requirements requested, propose amendments to give further clarity and limit risk, and work closely with the subject matter experts to ascertain the ability to comply from an operational standpoint.

Following achievement of preferred vendor status, you will work in a team to support or lead the commercial negotiation, with your primary focus being on liaison with the Business Areas to populate and/or agree the contract schedules. You will take an active role to ensure a mutually acceptable draft contract that can be offered for final internal approval and signature. This will involve, amongst other things, working closely with the Legal Team.

You will work closely with the Business Areas to support the generation and execution of Change Control Notices (CCN) to existing Contracts offering expert advice to all stakeholders throughout the process. This will involve drafting CCN's to accurately reflect the deal, supporting negotiation with customers, and prepare briefing notes and contributing to internal governance processes, as required, ahead of signature.

You will be expected to use your commercial experience and Contract Management skills to project manage the Business Areas review of all schedules and carry out a quality control review yourself to ensure the Business Areas comments and review of the schedules can be effectively reflected in the final schedule mark-up as required.

You will provide an interface between the commercial operations and legal counsel, where advice, interpretation and guidance is required. You will act as an expert in the interpretation of contracts that commercial colleagues can refer to as required. This may involve taking a key role in new initiatives or projects requiring input from the Contract Management function.

Your qualifications and experience:

Contract Management experience of at least 4 years

Degree educated, or equivalent, with a minimum 2:1 degree from a reputable and established university.

You will be proactive and collaborative in your approach to your work

You will have the ability to work as part of a cross functional team as well as working independently

You will have a high level of legal and commercial acumen and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
