Role purpose
  • Creates and implement strategic plans to drive growth from existing base of large accounts
  • Manage base of direct customers via agent partners developing short, medium and long term plans for success
  • Achieve and exceed booking and revenue targets via a mixture of new or existing medium and large sized enterprise accounts

Key accountabilities
  • Support the Agents by providing expertise in selling relatively complex or new products existing and customers
  • Build, develop and maintain relationships with existing or potential customers, typically focusing on complex sales of solutions or services over longer sales cycles in order to maximise revenue and profit
  • Lead the creation and execution of account development plans for key accounts/agents
  • Assists in deal qualification, proposal, closure and resourcing
  • Develops a true understanding of the agent's and customer's business and builds approaches to ensure great customer service
  • Development of a territory sales plan, including target setting, from allocated named accounts (existing and prospects) managed via Agent partners
  • Driving company sales strategies and processes to meet booking and revenue goals through the effective sales methodology;
  • Winning and retaining business across all product lines (Data & Voice) for COLT
  • Build relationships at C-Level in the market
  • Deliver proper reporting (pipeline, forecast, win-loss ratio, etc ) in order to manage achievement of targets
  • Support Agent community by providing coaching expertise in selling relatively complex or new products;
  • Lead the creation and execution of account/partner development plans for key accounts/agents
  • Assists in deal qualification, proposal, closure and resourcing
  • Develop a true understanding of the agents, customers and territory and build approaches to ensure great customer service

Key performance indicators (financial and non-financial)
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual bookings and revenue targets
  • Accurate business forecasting
  • Ensure sales plan is executed according to KPIs
  • Meet the customer satisfaction for the sales category

Relationships and key contacts
  • Plans, develops, designs, negotiates and delivers high value, bandwidth services which contribute to the clients strategic business development
  • Escalation point for customers
  • Personal Network in the market

Role specific requirements

Skills & Experience
  • Outstanding sales skils (preferably in Indirect sales) ensuring:
    • Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural, multinational environment and mobilize high performance teams
    • Excellent presentation skills and an ability to engage audiences
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with others to reach mutually agreeable outcomes
    • Professional Pipeline and Forecast-management
    • Ability to successfully negotiate and close a deal
    • Demonstrates strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit
    • Proven sales success and self-motivation
    • Proven track record on hunting new accounts
    • Proven track record of growing existing accounts
  • At least five years' experience of Telecoms and Cloud markets
  • Experience in a collaborative team environment, delegating workload and responsibilities
  • Result oriented with high commitment, resilience and a positive attitude.
  • Previous Agent recruitment experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot problems that may arise
  • Ability to prioritize and oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications/ Personality
  • Good working knowledge of the European telecoms market
  • Existing industry contacts desirable
  • Proven knowledge of Sales practices and procedures
