We are looking for a talented EU Capacity Manager to build, evolve and manage a complex capacity planning model that facilitates a new growth program evolving our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) offer. The program gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to develop a successful package delivery business with low start-up costs and access to Amazon's technology and logistics experience. The role will be responsible for devising processes to create demand plans for recruiting DSPs in the right place at the right time by managing constantly changing inputs from key stakeholders. Great candidates have a passion for excel and complex modeling; think like business owners and drive results; look at a challenge, define what is broken and build the solution. You will act as the single source of truth for reporting on DSP demand and align closely with a range of business partners from planning and finance, fleet, expansion, along with business development who rely on accurate plans for sourcing new DSPs. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, customer-focused, and adept at problem solving in a fast moving and ambiguous environment. You must be comfortable presenting data and confident to make recommendations based on data driven logic.
• Build planning tools to ingest inputs from various stakeholders and data sources • Define processes that support the frequency of changing inputs • Use data to make recommendations • Ensure bottlenecks or timeline breeches are proactively flagged based on data analysis • Regularly report on and resolve process defects in modelling • Produce timely, accurate capacity plans for DSP sourcing targets that align with business planning and strategic goals • Partner with key stakeholders to align on changes and be the single source of truth for the DSP demand
• Language English • A completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited university • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail • Minimum 1-3 years in controlling, accounting, business intelligence or supply chain • A proven track record of creating effective reporting and data analysis • Strong analytical skills combined with proficiency in Excel • Excellent communications skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail. • Experience influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast moving environment
