Job description

The Business Transformation Manager will be responsible for developingand delivering a transformational change programme of the HVDC organisation tosupport the achievement and delivery of the division strategy. Key elements ofthe role will include:

Identify organisational capabilityrequirements based on thorough analysis of current state
Define an overarching change strategy
Design interventions to drive the appropriate culture, behaviours, skills andperformance
Provide insight and leadership on change management strategy and implementation

Role & Responsibilities

Collaborate with HVDC team and across business units to develop anoverarching change strategy. Key elements to include:

Assess organisation strategy at a BU leveland evaluate key organisation development needs against current capacity andcapability to deliver
Develop an overarching businesstransformation strategy and gain support from executive management team
Develop business transformation interventionsto address aspects of structure, capability, systems, process, culture, etc andsupport senior leaders to recognise key 'levers' of change
Provide thought leadership to senior &executive management team on methodologies of organisation development and howthey can have most impact
Define the organisation wide implementationplan in detail, outlining terms of reference, key deliverables, stakeholdersand resource implications
Effectively manage a change process,developing a risk mitigation strategy with senior & executive management
Act as a point of contact between differentbusiness units and functions of the organisation
Support the Head of the business unit toengage and challenge management team to understand the rationale for change andto fully support the business transformation strategy
Monitor progress of the change managementprocess, collaborating with existing business excellence community to deliverinterventions and drive process improvement

Role Requirements

Academic, professional or vocationalqualifications in management and/or leadership are highly advantageous.
Substantial knowledge and experience inbusiness transformation projects / change management projects, covering abreadth of activities
Theoretical and conceptual skills
A good presenter with innovativevisualization techniques
Proactive and able to use initiative
Proven influencing skills focused oninfluencing senior management
Ability to quickly establish credibility andrespect to build strong working relationships
Confident with strong decision making skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent organisational skills
Demonstrated commitment to learning throughcontinuous educational development
