Working exclusively within the Camera Enforcement Office the post holder will work within a team to provide administrative services to assist in maintaining the effective and efficient running of the Camera Enforcement Unit.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To provide general clerical assistance in respect of postal despatch.
To input, retrieve and present data using an appropriate computer system.
To produce statements for court
Initiate and answer letters
To answer and action telephone enquiries.
To maintain filing systems and undertake general filing.
Liaise with outside agencies and partners i.e. West Midlands Casualty Reduction Partnership (WMCRP), West Midlands Magistrates Courts, Criminal Justice Units and the Central Ticket Office (CTO).
Deal with queries from members of the public relating to the offences captured
Be able to assist with basic enquiries to assist the enquiry team for the Camera Enforcement Unit
To carry out any other duties commensurate with the purpose and grading of the post that may from time to time be determined.
Possess excellent I.T. skills and abilities with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular word processing.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must have at least 12 months administrative experience
Experience of working in busy office environment.
A knowledge of database software packages
Have access to Flints and PNC
