Job description

Location: Sheffield / London / Hybrid homeworking

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience and location

THE ROLE

The Business Readiness Lead will plan, coordinate and manage the activities related to business readiness, education, adoption, and benefits realisation across the organisation wide change plan - ensuring that change is implemented smoothly and accepted into the business. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a framework for readiness activities which will be deployed across all projects, as well as co ordinating across change bank wide to effectively embed the changes.

Working across multiple projects and programmes, and with a wide variety of senior stakeholders across the business, you will oversee and drive business and customer readiness activities, supporting stakeholders in adopting new changes, and collaborating closely with Change and Communication specialists to deploy information and gather feedback.

You will be responsible for scoping, planning, and scheduling business readiness activities at a portfolio level across the bank. You will co-ordinate's development of detailed change impact assessments and securing a shared view of these impacts across areas impacted, the programme team and the business area sponsoring the changes and will work with the project teams to ensure impact assessments are completed and used as a basis to ensure all customers, stakeholders and third parties are fully engaged and ready to use, support, adopt and embed new people, process, and technology changes.

Developing effective and appropriate change readiness frameworks, you will ensure that business readiness and adoption activities are built into project plans, team roles and responsibilities and governance frameworks.

You will understand stakeholder groups and drive stakeholder engagement and management to support project and programme delivery.

You will contribute to the Business Change practice, supporting the development of content for capability frameworks and best practice methodologies. You will also define the benefits management framework and the holistic benefit realisation plan - working with the change teams and business to ensure monitoring of actuals is in place and that post implementation interventions are made as necessary in order to achieve plan.

It is essential that you have extensive experience leading change and business readiness for large or multiple business and technology led programmes. You will have considerable knowledge of the change management challenges associated with implementing continuous change in a fast-moving organisation and of realising benefits.

You will be experienced in developing and delivering change and business readiness activities to a high standard, with experience of delivering organisational change involving changes to people, processes, technology, structure, behaviour and new ways of working, and experience in migration and cutover activities that affect the entire organisation.

You will have excellent stakeholder management skills with a diverse range of stakeholders, overcoming emotional aspects of resistance to change and demonstrating the ability to gain trust and understand the issues that matter to people most. Knowledge of how change management fits within both a Waterfall and Agile project delivery framework and experience of project planning.
