Job description

This role sits within our Analytics team, who work with advertisers to help them get the best returns on their marketing and promotional spend. You’ll be leading the delivery of high-quality services (in particular but not restricted to Marketing Mix Modelling projects and testing programmes) and product developments to meet our client’s needs, and be responsible for team leadership, overseeing modelling and client relationships. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • To integrate Ebiquity recommendations into the client’s business planning and to manage the client relationship
  • Help devise key client development strategies and own your clients / verticals
  • To establish and convert new business opportunities
  • To help train and develop junior members of the team and help them progress further
  • Professionally confident with personal gravitas; able quickly to generate respect from clients
  • Ability to work on projects simultaneously and to manage the allocated resource to ensure projects are delivered to budget
  • Implement appraisal process on time and with clear targets and development needs identified for each appraisee
  • Establish the metrics needed for a full evaluation of productivity and profitability with consequent improvements in pricing and resource use
  • Demonstrate active support for the training initiatives within the Business Unit and across Ebiquity in general
  • Using skills within the team, contribute to the establishment of Ebiquity as a high-profile leader in marketing and media effectiveness, through thought leadership and associated activities

What will you bring to the role?

  • You will be an expert marketing analytics practitioner with at least 10 years relevant experience
  • You must have some hands-on experience building MMM models, even if this is not recent
  • While it is not central to the role, you must be willing to pick up on direct project management (i.e. data gathering) as well as occasional model building and critique. It is important to demonstrate end-to-end capability
  • You will have extensive experience developing client relationships; negotiating terms as well as upsell and cross-sell product offerings. The profitability and growth of our client portfolio will be your direct responsibility
  • You will be a strong and clear communicator and have the agility and flexibility to keep all stakeholders internally aware of what is happening on the accounts
  • Ability to navigate through some of the client’s internal politics and ways of working
  • You will have extensive experience coaching and supporting a team to ensure that the group runs as effectively as possible this will includes your experience of developing the individuals, holding appraisals, motivating and inspiring a team, creating conditions for them to meet client deliverables and manage any under-performance
