Job description

Colt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure.

Role:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for the execution of Market Development initiatives with local and regional sales teams.

These initiatives include i terative joint account activity with designated partners, connecting Colt sellers with their partner account management counterparts and instigating joint discussions and planning to help drive mutually beneficial opportunities forward. The Business Development Executive will in addition deliver qualified insights to Colt sellers, acting as a trusted adviser to sales and developing a reputation as the 'go-to' person for all matters partner related.

Another aspect of the role is to act as an evangelist for both the Colt Partner Hub (Colt's new partner programme) and for new products, to help drive adoption with local and regional sales teams.

This is a great opportunity for a goal focused individual looking for a strategic relationship management role, with a will and desire to progress a career in a fast paced technology sales and marketing environment.

The Business Development Executive will report to the Director of Partner Go-to-Market in the newly formed Market Development organisation at Colt. This role will be pivotal in helping deliver value back to the business in a rapidly growing segment within Colt.

Key Accountabilities
  • Local sales execution of Market Development Initiatives
  • Iterate joint account mapping with designated partners
  • Connect Colt and partner account executives
  • Facilitate contact and instigate joint discussions and planning
  • Local liaison with partners
  • Drive local adoption of new Colt products and services with sales and partners
  • Local evangelism of Partner Hub
  • Drive sales engagement around mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Be seen as go-to expert for all matters partner related by local sales teams
  • Be present at local meetings / develop relationships and trust with key stakeholders


Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent Native Language and/or English Speaker
  • Strong interpersonal skills, creative, flexible, proactive 'can-do' attitude, a collaborative team player
  • Can demonstrate patience, persistence and a methodical approach
