Job description

Ideally, you will be based out of Ipswich, but we will consider
candidates from other locations within the UK.

This is an entry point opportunity for someone
to join our successful sales team; insurance industry experience is not
essential. However, you should have at least some experience of selling
business services / b2b and have the desire, persistence and hunger to engage
with prospects, create meetings, working alongside a highly motivated team of
industry, risk and insurance experts to bring new clients to Willis Towers
Watson (WTW).

We will invest in developing you into a high
performing sales professional and you will participate in the WTW Sales
Learning & Development programme re-launched in 2019 in addition to
intensive onsite 1:1 coaching within the role.

The Role

This role is pivotal, working within our GB
sales team to generate revenue, drive prospect engagement and win new business
in line with our Mid - Market sales strategy. Achievement is measured through
originating quality meetings, developing robust pipelines to help the sales
team achieve financial targets.
    support and develop the Business Unit (BU) to deliver required growth and
    achieve agreed business targets Actively
    drive the sales process and BU activity in relation to winning, and
    developing profitable clients Creation
    of new and subsequent prospect meetings for yourself and others Ensure
    robust account planning is in place for all prospects and that key actions
    are completed on time Devise
    and execute strategies to develop and grow a network of relationships
    among prospects decision makers Develop
    strategies and tactics to help position Willis Towers Watson as a “thought
    leader” within our clients & prospects Actively
    identify and work with colleagues across the Willis Towers Watson business
    to capitalise on account penetration and cross selling opportunities Maintain
    a detailed knowledge of Willis Towers Watson products, together with an
    additional depth of understanding of products offered across the wider
    Willis Towers Watson Group Initiate
    contact with new prospects and build relationships with key decision
    makers significantly ahead of RFP issuance Initiate
    contact and build relationships with allocated prospects in order to
    create and convert sales opportunities Ensure
    that full and accurate details of contact with and development of all
    prospects are entered and updated on Willis Towers Watson CRM systems
The Requirements

    persistence and hunger to create meetings and win business Knowledge
    of strategic account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim Able
    to move successfully through a mid-market account sales process and
    successfully and close business when required Understanding
    of the new business sales process and the ability to operate at every
    level within the sales process from conducting a positive initial prospect
    meeting to crafting and delivering a compelling and successful proposal Strong
    interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build
    relationships with new clients on the phone and face to face Excellent
    proven client focus and sales skills Experience
    of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support sales.
