Locations: Greater London, Kent, Berkshire, Essex, East and West Midlands

Base Location: Flexible - within region

About the Department

Energy Solutions design, install, monitor, maintain and optimise building control systems and are part of SSE's Distributed Energy division developing solutions for smart places - cities, campuses and non-domestic buildings.

Working alongside our colleagues, we provide some of the most critical building management and energy generation services required in a Zero Carbon world - renewable energy generation - including solar PV and battery storage solutions, heat networks, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure; and of course building control solutions.

What are the opportunities?

As part of our growth plans, we'll be looking to recruit BEMS Sales Managers to join SSE's energy optimisation division where you'll be at the centre of pushing to bring smart energy and smart building solutions to market. Opportunities will be available across the Midlands and the South East however we'd welcome interest out with these locations.

As part of a results driven and customer focused team, you'll be part of one of the largest BEMS businesses in the UK, with strong manufacturer relationships and support. You'll be working alongside a team with a winning mentality and determination to succeed which will help you achieve our shared goals and you'll thrive on growing your business area through proactively developing long lasting relationships with your clients.

We're looking for individuals with strong BEMS or energy management industry experience as this will be key to in you hitting the ground running. Ideally, you'll be educated to a minimum of HNC in an engineering/business related discipline and have previous Building Management Systems experience, ideally gained either dealing with projects direct with developers and main contractors; or selling support services through the FM channel or directly to end users.
