As an Assistant Project Manager within the High Speed rail team with HS2, you will provide Project Management support to the project team to assist with ensuring our delivery partners deliver according to time, cost, quality, safety and environmental specifications.
About the role:
Assist with leading , influencing and motivating HS2 subject matter experts assigned to the project teams and assist with driving the process improvements and methodology
Support the Project Manager in collaborating with teams embedded within our delivery partners to deliver the project scope
Monitor, improve, validate and advise on the programme with regards to time, cost, resources, quality and safety
Assist with managing business and project risks, including the development of contingency plans through appropriate risk management/mitigation strategies
Assure that the management of health, safety and security by the appointed supply chain meets the required standard by arrangements to continually monitor, review and address HS&S performance with the supplier
Assimilate, manage and present complex information to prioritise requirements through workshops

Qualifications About You:
Project management experience supported by a suitable qualification
Experience of governance and assurance activities
Experience of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of contract management
