The role holder will work with more senior colleagues within the team to provide first class co-ordination and project management support to investment teams across all asset classes
For assigned projects, the role holder will work with more senior colleagues and the relevant client team to understand the challenges and objectives that their client has in order to support the right approach for that project or transaction. They will collaborate with the key stakeholders within the investment teams to co-ordinate the implementation. The key deliverables include defining optimal implementation plans, and then participating in the management and delivery of these plans to the agreed timescale using a risk controlled framework
The successful candidate will be required to build positive stakeholder relationships and generate positive outcomes for clients. Therefore good communication skills, both written and spoken, are required. Candidates should have some experience of managing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and be able to learn quickly and think flexibly.
Candidates should also have had some exposure to direct investment management and have an appreciation of investment context. They should also be able to demonstrate some understanding of end-to-end investment and operational processes.
Some exposure to co-ordination and/or project management in an investment context would be an advantage.
