Job description


We are looking for an Artworker to join the rapidly communications and marketing team at Homes England.

This newly created role offers the opportunity to be part of the roll out of our new brand, ensuring that it is applied consistently and engagingly across a wide variety of marketing materials, helping tell the Homes England story to our varied audiences.

The post holder will work closely with the wider marketing team to help create artworked reports, marketing collateral, presentations, site signage and other materials that are in line with our brand guidelines.

The role can be based in one any of our offices (excluding London), with occasional travel to other offices for meetings expected.

Homes England is the new national housing agency, recently launched to play a major role in fixing the housing market and enabling delivery of homes that our country needs.

All successful candidates will be eligible to join the Homes and Communities Agency Pension - a final salary, defined benefit, pension scheme. In exchange for paying a monthly contribution of 6% of salary you will accrue generous benefits, as well as becoming a member of the Scheme's group life assurance policy.

Grade entry qualifications
•Educated to degree level and/or with relevant professional qualification(s)
•A strong artworker with knowledge of best practice in design for the web, social media and developing multimedia content and presentations
•Strong experience of using content design tools is essential (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator)
•Experience of Microsoft 365 / Office products (e.g. template creation and updates in PowerPoint)
•Experience of using brand guidelines to apply brands to a range of different products, both digital and physical
•Some wider communications knowledge would also be desirable

All appointments are on Homes England terms and conditions. Full time hours for this post are 35 hours per week; alternative flexible working arrangements would be considered.

Please note - Homes England has a responsibility to ensure compliance with HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard to address the potential problems of identity fraud, illegal working and deception generally. To ensure compliance we will carry out a pre-employment Personal Identity and Vetting Report through Equifax to meet the standard and you will therefore be asked to provide certain information in order that the verification check can be carried out if you are successful in your application.

Should an appointment be made to a London base location a London Allowance of £3,883 will be paid per annum.
