    Department Info

    LGIM manages fixed income, equity, multi-asset, liability-driven investment, property and alternative solutions on behalf of its clients. Located across the globe, our clients include institutional pension funds, financial institutions, local authorities and sovereign wealth funds. In order to meet the complex and evolving investment needs of our clients, we focus on remaining at the forefront of investment product innovation and maintaining our reputation as experts across all asset classes.

    Job Duties

    • Analysis and production of attribution on a monthly basis
    • Actively participate in regular meetings with Fund Managers and Product Specialists
    • Suggest, implement automation and enhancements to AFI & LDI attribution model and processes.
    • To keep up to date with industry and market changes
    • Project and development work - increase analytic coverage and on-going enhancement in the model & process
    • Continually seek to understand and satisfy our clients (internal and external) requirements. Develop processes, procedures and systems to support these requirements.
    • Ensure appropriate controls and procedures are in place for all functions within the team and supporting documentation is up to date.
    • Share knowledge and train other team members as necessary.


    Skills Required

    Qualifications
    • Educated to a degree level, preferably in quantitative subject

    Experience
    • Several years of experience in the industry
    • Excellent understanding of AFI strategies and attribution breakdown
    • Knowledge of investment management Industry
    • Thorough understanding of OTC & ETD derivatives and their uses in portfolio management
    • Knowledge of LDI and pension industry
    • Competencies
    • Strong bond mathematics skills.
    • Some years of programing experience and working with databases (VBA, SQL)
    • A real interest for the markets
    • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively, both individually and within a team.
    • Proactive and effective approach.
    • Python programing experience
