To design, embed and manage the strategy, framework and methodology to ensure high performance and value from new and existing suppliers, by implementing procurement strategies, maintaining key business contracts and developing supplier relationships.
Design, manage and embed a supplier management framework (including outsourcing) for all existing and new suppliers.
Lead the negotiation and execution of new and existing contracts working closely with the legal team and functional heads to ensure optimum commercial value and appropriate risk management.
Oversee implementation of executed contracts and service agreements ensuring their compliance with agreed service, performance, quality and delivery levels.
Act as a focal point for supplier management communications, training and retention of supplier management collateral.
Identify and implement cost improvement plans for key supplier agreements and new contracts.
Undertake assurance exercises on key suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are being met and provide reports to senior management.

Technical Skills and Expertise
At least 3 years experience working in a procurement and/or contract management role
Practical knowledge of contract law
Practical knowledge of procurement best practice
Experience of working within the financial services industry
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements
Microsoft Office, including excel and access.
