Perhaps you already have experience. Or maybe you're looking to start out in admin. Either way, we'll rely on you to provide vital administrative support to one of our key business areas. You'll also be the first point of contact for clients, whether processing initial applications, servicing policies from other providers or making payments. Answering queries will be an important part of the role too, as will ensuring client requests are processed correctly and that we comply with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly. Presenting information in an easy to understand way, coming up with solutions to problems of varying complexity and making recommendations to improve our operations, service and processes - all, and more, are aspects of these interesting, varied and vital support roles.
Numerate and analytical, with great communication skills, strong attention to detail and a good level of literacy, absorbing and retaining information quickly is second nature to you. What's more, you enjoy working flexibly as part of a team and managing your own time and workload under minimum supervision. You're confident using PCs too, and know your way round Microsoft Office. A background in a customer services/admin job and/or understanding of the financial services industry would be welcomed, but isn't as important as the right attitude and values, lots of enthusiasm and a real desire to learn and develop. If you have experience/ knowledge of AML, KYC/Payments/Bank transfers, even better, but again, it's not essential.
