How you'll make an impact

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to join an expanding team, based in Milton Keynes.

Working alongside the Head of Inside Sales and other Team Managers, this role is responsible for leading and managing Xero UK's Team of Account Managers. The Account Manager Team Manager will help each individual meet his or her sales targets and will ensure that our Accounting and Bookkeeping Partners receive the support and guidance that they need to succeed. This role draws on demonstrable experience and proven, dynamic people focussed leadership, accompanied by knowledge of the UK accounting marketplace. It carries responsibility for a significant proportion of Xero UK's business.

What you'll do…

You will be responsible for leading your team including the ongoing professional skills development, performance management, coaching and career progression of each individual to meet and exceed monthly sales targets and activity based KPIs.

You will work with your team to develop territory plans which facilitate individual Account Managers to achieve their targets and deliver timely and accurate sales forecasts and associated reporting. Through monitoring activity, providing hands-on process improvement where needed and monitoring competition in the UK market this role will contribute to competitive strategy and lead the Account Manager team to success.

  • Strong People Management skills
  • Experienced and successful inside sales management & coaching background
  • Proven ability to develop and manage territory sales and calling plans to facilitate your team achieving its targets
  • Strong sales, account management and inside sales team leadership skills
  • Proven sales performance and drive for results

This role is accompanied by a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 plus £25,000 commission and benefits
