Job description

The Role

The successful candidate will deliver high quality and efficient operational outcomes in support of the sales, marketing and placement process.
  • Issuance of documents that reflect the agreed contract and any contract changes within the required timeframe
  • Receive and action client's instructions in a timely manner and communicate pertinent information as necessary
  • Where required, assist with queries from Claims and A&S divisions in order to support the achievement of Marine's Key Client Outcomes;
  • Manage process of client service delivery adhering to standardised Group policies and procedures, and to agreed service standards to ensure each client meets agreed target profitability levels: gathering client histories; slip production; managing contract drafting; preparing quotes for clients; management of PPL process: firm order, final slip and final premium capture; management of document production, issuance and filing within DMS, including Client Engagement Guides (quotes, cover confirmation, invoices and market documentation); non-bureau / bureau submission work; and billing (including the timely receipt of client bordereau)
  • Manage endorsements, Notice of Cancellation's and day-to-day client queries
  • Produce renewal information packages or new client placement presentations
  • Communicate effectively and develop good relationships with clients, underwriters and internal colleagues
  • Ensure adherence to standardised Group policies and procedures, including all WEM, Contract Certainty and other regulatory requirements
  • Any other duties commensurate with your position or level of responsibility, in particular those which assist with the smooth and effective transition to the “Shaping Our Future - London” new business model. Plus undertake tasks relating to the run off of our legacy systems
