Wellbeing Blend at Starbucks

We are committed to creating a welcoming culture and workplace that connects and supports partners, helping you become happier and healthier. This is why we have a range of tools and services available at Starbucks to support mental fitness and help when our resilience is tested most. We support the wellbeing of our partners throughout the below:

  • The Partner Life support network is the free and confidential employee assistance program. Partners can get access to information, advice, guidance and up to 10 free counselling sessions should they need it, anytime, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, for them and their family.

  • BUPA: We care about the physical and mental health of our partners therefore we provide them with the opportunity to gain direct access to Online GP and to get instant phone consultations, also by offering full mental health support with Bupa Mental Health.

  • Headspace: The headspace wellbeing platform enables partners to experience the benefits of mindfulness and meditation anytime, anywhere, and includes hundreds of themed sessions and guided meditations on a wide range of topics, to fit into the everyday busy schedule.

  • Mental Health Champion: A team of trained Mental Health First Aid Champions are there to promote mental fitness and listen if our partners are experiencing a mental health issue or any emotional distress.

  • Wellbeing Policy: This policy has been created to promote partners overall wellbeing and mental, physical and social health. Starbucks supports partners wellbeing by promoting a culture which positively promotes mental health and wellbeing to support partners to become happier and healthier, enabling them to achieve a greater work life balance. Starbucks aims to promote a positive working environment through collaboration with partners to achieve our goals in line with our mission and values, whilst promoting the physical and mental health of all partners.
