TUNE at NUS
NUS has a strong and vibrant staff trade union called TUNE, which is part of Unite. TUNE members are given a clear voice to the organisation, working together for fair, equal and safe working conditions.
Each year, TUNE elects a committee of volunteers made up of staff members. These volunteers lead on representing and supporting staff in different locations, including London, Macclesfield, the Nations and those working from home. These volunteers, along with specific roles for equality & diversity, health and safety and casualised hours staff form the committee who link with the leadership of NUS to ensure better working conditions for our members.
