Welcome to VERCIDA website.
Skip to main contentLendlease Foundation is here to help bring health, balance and wellbeing to our employees, their families, our colleagues and the communities where we live and work.
We do this by offering programmes that:
Lendlease Foundation was established in 1983 by Lendlease founder, Dick Dusseldorp, and former Lendlease Chairman and CEO, Stuart Hornery. They had a long term goal for a function at Lendlease that would nurture and support its social responsibility both internally to employees as well as to the community. Today, more than 30 years on, we’re proud to say this vision still remains true.
Lendlease Foundation is what makes working for Lendlease unique.
Lendlease Foundation Programmes
Lendlease Foundation regional and global programmes are designed to address three key elements:
Lendlease Foundation Highlights
Springboard
Each year over 300 of our employees from around the world are given the chance to attend an intensive five day personal development experience, structured to help them realise their full potential. This programme is also designed to generate a positive legacy for our community partners.
* Employees must have a minimum of two years tenure (full time and part time)
Community 365 & Community Day
Community365 is designed to help employees share their skills, time and energy with our local communities not just once a year, but every day. This scheme encourages our people to take paid time from work to connect with our community partners and make it a better place by putting something positive into our local areas.
Community Day is one of Lendlease Foundation's oldest and most popular programmes: it is a dedicated day to help build a better future. It gives the opportunity to all Lendlease employees to work alongside their colleagues, supply chain, local charities, schools, hospitals, family and suppliers on a project identified as important to the community.
Pilotlight
Pilotlight brings together teams of senior business professionals and utilises their talent to deliver measurable change and tangible benefits to local charities and social enterprises.
Code Club
Code Club projects are designed to teach children coding concepts and skills by making games, animations, and websites. This charity supports a nationwide network of volunteers and educators who run free coding clubs for children aged 9-13 to build and share their ideas and learn along the way.
Community Grants
Community Grants provide funding for a project or a community group in which Lendlease employees are directly and significantly involved, both with time and effort. Community Grants are intended to help us make the world we live in a better and safer place to live, work and play.
