The Diversity Council at the Food Standards Agency
The Diversity Council is chaired by the Chief Executive and includes HR, staff and network representatives. The primary aim of the Council is to advance and champion diversity, inclusion and equality of opportunity in line with the FSA diversity and inclusion strategy.
The council will:
- provide support, advice and challenge at a strategic level to the Chief Executive, Diversity Champions and HR policy leads.
- facilitating collaboration and consistent messaging across the diversity strands.
- monitor and report on progress on the action plan and regular reporting to colleagues on the progress of the agenda.
- consider how Civil Service strategies/policies/frameworks might impact on the work that the FSA is undertaking in relation to diversity and inclusion.
