Staff Network Groups at Reed Smith

We are proud to have a range of fantastic Networks groups, which are aimed to support and celebrate the diversity that our firm enjoys.

Disability Task Force

Our Disability Task Force was inspired by the 2012 Paralympics. The task force comprises senior managers from HR and learning and development, alongside partners from diverse practice areas. Our aim is to become the law firm of choice for disabled candidates.

PRISM – LGBT Network

Our LGBT network, PRISM, acts as a forum for socialising and networking within Reed Smith and with the wider LGBT community, working alongside other firm networks, such as our Disability Task Force, Women’s Initiative Network (WinRS) and Multicultural Network.

Multicultural Network

We launched our Multicultural Network officially in November 2015. The Multicultural Network is an employee affinity network to celebrate multiculturalism, support the firm’s broader diversity strategies and be a resource to employees. Following its launch, the network joined The Network of Network’s Multicultural/BAME Chapter, a cross-city network which shares best practice in this area.

WINRS – Women’s Initiative Network of Reed Smith

More than 600 Reed Smith lawyers around the world are members of our Women’s Initiative Network, or WINRS, which is devoted to building more opportunities for female lawyers.

WINRS helps members navigate career transitions and challenges, such as work-life balance, partner promotion, and practice group choices. This includes sponsorship, where women identified as partner-ready receive mentoring and counselling and can apply for business development grants
