SPECTRUM at RS Components

SPECTRUM – is our LGBTQ+ community and allies group.  We are an inclusive organisation where the LGBTQ+ community can thrive, find support and are empowered to bring their true self to work.  The Spectrum network is here to not only support those who have found their feet and know their direction, but also as a safe space for those who might be struggling. Also offering support and education for allies or family members of the community. Please feel free to join and don’t forget to ask for your rainbow lanyard.  

Empowering every person to bring their authentic self to work is part of who we are.  We work closely with all our people to understand their needs and provide a safe space to openly share their lived experience of being part of the LGBTQ+ community.

We have a great ERG: Spectrum that is there to support, be a voice of our people, build ally ship, and grow understanding on topics that sometimes, as an ally, you may not fully understand or grasp.

Our President of Global Supply Chain, Debbie Lentz, is our Executive Sponsor and she proactively takes a stand to show support and build ally ship across our global organisation. 

In November 2020, Debbie was honoured as a Moves Power Woman, which recognised her influence as a woman that is making a positive difference. 

We support several external LGBTQ+ events and organisations, Diversity Role Models, PRIDE, myGwork and in the summer of 2021, we are sponsoring the Tour of Cambridgeshire bike ride to raise awareness on the lack of LGBTQ+ friendly sports.
