Giving Something Back – Hands-up scheme

We encourage our staff to volunteer through our Hands-Up scheme to support local communities.

You can use your volunteering time to work on your own volunteering activity where it meets our volunteering criteria or get involved in one of the many activities organised by SQA staff.

Supporting charity

We encourage staff to support out fundraising activities in support of our nominated charities. Activities include quiz nights, cake sales, sponsored walks and many others.

The objective of being a responsible business involves creating positive changes and making valuable contributions to our local community, customers, and colleagues.

The Responsible Business Team are at the heart of the organisation supporting our colleagues in a number of ways.

MAC (Make a Change)

Promote and encourage healthy, active lifestyle choices, a safe and environmentally sound workplace for all SQA staff. The Make A Change (MAC) Group of staff volunteers drives forward the development and delivery of health and wellbeing for SQA Staff. SQA are accredited to the Healthy Working Lives Gold Award.
