Return to Work Network at Post Office

The Return to Work network was set up to create the time and space for colleagues who are returning to work to discuss the challenges of being back in the work environment after a break.

It’s an informal network that meets regularly and encourages colleagues to chat openly and honestly about their return to work with other working parents or carers, to socialise and share tips and ideas.

The group’s members offer advice and share resources with one another to help those returning to work have a positive experience in doing so and achieve a good work life balance.

The group are also sharing their key learnings with the business with the aim of improving the policies and procedures that impact returnees.

The Return to Work Network lead said:

‘Ultimately – we want to create a culture within our company which makes all of us feel encouraged, listened to and valued for being back at work, whilst being a parent or carer.’
