Rainbow Alliance (LGBTQ+) Network at Capita

The Rainbow Alliance Network has over 1,000 members. Our aim is to raise up the LGBTQ+ community within our business, across all countries where Capita has a presence. We want to empower people to express themselves freely and be confident in being themselves from a sexuality or gender perspective.

What do we do?

The network offers a supportive, safe space for colleagues to get together, share experiences and challenges, and engage with topics in an informal way. We encourage people to talk about different topics and have healthy debates. Over the past few years, we’ve produced informative online campaigns, videos, presentations, internal training sessions and articles for both internal and external audiences. We work closely with Capita’s sales team to ensure that our clients understand our agenda and commitment to DE&I. And, we have local chapters around the business that organise events and provide feedback on relevant issues so that we can raise awareness and take action.

Meet the team

Our Network is supported by Exco Sponsor, Scott Hill (He/Him). Sophie Davis (She/They) is our chair, with Katie McCormack (She/Her) acting as Co-Chairs.
