Ask Anything! webinars
Inclusion is nuanced and no one person has all the answers, but together we can explore and learn. This 45-minute session was an opportunity to ask any question on our minds that helped us to learn more about inclusion and be more inclusive. Our questions were answered by Michael Lassman, an expert in the field.
Race Ratio Campaign
Wates has become one of the first 100 companies to join the Change the Race Ratio initiative, and the first construction business to do so.
Sir James Wates, said:
"As the first construction business to become a signatory of the Change the Race Ratio, we want to lead the change to make sure our sector becomes more representative of wider society, a sector in which everyone person is welcomed, included and connected.
"We passionately believe that the best places to work are inclusive, enabling everyone to thrive and offering equality of opportunities, and this has to start at the most senior levels of a business."
