Race Equity Action Plan at Moneysupermarket Group

Our Race Equity Action Plan sets out how we will be anti-racist and improve multi-ethnic representation at all levels of the company.  The plan is underpinned by signing the Race at Work Charter - a public commitment to prioritising action on race equality. 

So far, to help increase multi-ethnic representation we have:

  • Piloted a Mentoring Sponsorships Programme. Multi-ethnic colleagues have been paired with members of our senior leaderships group to aid visibility and internal progression and support
  • Ensured at least 25% of the places on our internal leadership development programme were given to multi-ethnic colleagues
  • Reviewed our people process to minimise bias hiring, internal promotion, pay, talent and performance management
  • Partnered with Vercida to widen the diversity of our candidate.

Alongside this we also partnered with InChorus to hold our first microaggressions audit where colleagues were able to confidentially flag instances of work related bias and microaggressions that they have experiences directly or observed happening to another colleague.

The audit helped us better understand colleagues' experience of everyday bias, microaggression and other non-inclusive behaviours.  Following the audit we asked Hustle Crew Ltd to deliver Inclusive Leaderships training to all of our Senior Leaders
