Part-Time Worker’s Network at BEIS
The Part-Time Workers’ Network is open to anyone in BEIS and is particularly for those who are part-time or job-sharing, or considering moving from full time employment to more flexible working.
What they do:
- promote the benefits of part-time working and job sharing
- highlight the value and flexibility provided by part-time workers
- advise, inform and support part-time workers, job sharers and their line managers
- offer one to one discussion and advice
- offer mutual support for members
- provide a forum to discuss issues and ways of working
- identify common issues and barriers to career progression and performance management
- act to resolve issues
- comment on BEIS policies affecting members and raise awareness of our concerns
- link with other networks, such as the Cross-Civil Service Job Share Working Group
