Welcome to VERCIDA website.
Skip to main contentThe Affinity Network is the network for our LGBT colleagues and their allies. It is run by colleagues from across the organisation who arrange social, speaker and networking events, sometimes with LGBT staff networks from other organisations.
The Affinity Network exists to support LGBT staff, and to make sure that Ofcom is a great place to work for LGBT employees. We believe it’s important that our LGBT staff are comfortable at work, whether they want to be ‘out’ in the office or not. The Affinity Network is sponsored by Alison Crosland, our Director of Corporate Services, who says:
"If colleagues are to be their best at work, they need to be able to be themselves, including being open about their sexual orientation or gender identity if they want to be. The Affinity Network is an important way for us to show that we value sexual diversity and support LGBT colleagues, so that everyone is empowered to be their authentic self at work."
