Metropolitan Police Sikh Association at The Metropolitan Police

The Metropolitan Police Sikh Association (MPSA) has the following aims and objectives to:

• Establish a social and cultural forum for Sikh members of the Met through social functions and celebrations of dates and festivals on the Sikh calendar
• Assist the Met in developing strategies to attract, retain and develop Sikh members of the service, part of the MPSA Recruitment & Community Engagement strand
• Provide a focus group for Sikh issues and promote diverse understanding of the Sikh faith and culture within the service
• Provide support and advice to Sikh members of the Met
• Promote the full integration of states of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, using the MPSA Wellness programme, part of the MPSA people strategy.
• Promote MPSA Career Development & Support  to empower & develop member’s confidence and provide guidance, support and opportunity to develop their careers within the MPS.
